Floyd Wilson Clay was the son of Hurston Clay and Zemenia Parson Clay. Floyd was Killed in Action south of Soissons, France during combat action in WWI. His body was never recovered or Identified. He is listed on the Tablets of the Missing at the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Belleau, France. He had advanced to the rank of Sgt. at the time of his death. He is a brother to William Henry Clay. Floyd's Military marker was placed here beside his brother to mark his life and service.
