William Nash Kelly, son of William Kelly and Rebecca Caroline Nash, married to Elizabeth Patrick Jackson, daughter of John Hunt jackson and Sarah. Marriage date was 02 AUG 1854 in Russell County, Va.
He enlisted in Co. G of the 37th Virginia Infantry as a Private on 13 Jul 1861 at New Garden. He was listed as being present in August 1861. He was admitted to Chimborazo Hospital with continual fever on 17 March 1862 and died on 12 April 1862. Elizabeth filed for a pension on 17 Nov 1891 in Buchanan Co., VA.
