Moroni- Ilene Nielson Moss, 73, passed away February 14 in a Mount Pleasant hospital.

She was born in Moroni, Utah, August 20, 1914, a daughter of Soren C. and Serena Jensen Nielson. She married LeRoy Harold (Fat) Moss, January 24, 1914 in Moroni, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an active member of the LDS church. She served 20 years in the Relief Society, 8 years in Primary and 5 years in the Young Women's organization. She was a Relief Society visiting teacher, and an Arcethe member. She loved to do for her loved ones. She had many talents, her yard, her home and handiwork.

She is survived by son, Mont L. Moss, Salt Lake City; daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Myrna) Coates, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Milton (Vickie) Larsen, Moroni; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Viola Polk, Los Angeles; brothers, Merrill Nielson, Garden Grove, California, Kenneth Nielson, Long Beach, California.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 18, 1:00 p.m. at the Moroni LDS Stake Center. Friends may call at Ursenbach Funeral Home, Wednesday 7-8 p.m. and Thursday at the Stake Center from 11:45 to 12:45. Burial will be in the Moroni City Cemetery.
