DAVID MICHAEL JANICEK was born November 30, 1952 to James C. Keen Jr. and Betty Osborne Keen in Houston, Texas. He went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 17, 2010. David was a loving and devoted father, son, husband, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Rachel de Jongh Janicek; his children, Michael Todd Janicek and his wife Kristin Toedter Janicek, Erin Janicek and her fiancé Alan McClung andJacob de Jongh; his granddaughters, Elise and Kaitlyn Janicek; mother, Betty Osborne Keen Janicek; brothers, James C. Keen III and William Randolph Keen; sisters, Alicia Ammons and Heidi Brown; and many nieces, nephews, dear friends and loved ones. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Bellaire United Methodist Church, 4417 Bellaire Blvd. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Friends of the Bellaire Library, Attention: Mary Alford (713) 662-8160.
