Mary Van Nostrand
Mrs. Mary Van Nostrand, 816 Taylor Ave., died Sunday in Moses Taylor Hospital after an illness. Born in this city, she was the daughter of Wesley H. and Mary Kipp Gearhart. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church and attended the Miss Dana School, Norristown, Pa. She was a former active member in the old Scranton Club, now defunct, and was an organizer of the District Nurse Association. Surviving are her husband, Leonard G.; a son, William S., Morristown, N. J.; seven grandchildren and a nephew. The funeral will be from Snowdon Funeral Home, 1810 Sanderson Ave., Tuesday at 10:30 a. m. with the Rev. Richard Ullman, curator of St. Luke's Church, officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery. Viewing, tonight from 7 to 9.
