Sharon Kay Diamond Evans, 65, of 333 W. Hively Ave., died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 18, 2010) in Valley View Health Care Center.

She was born on Dec. 20, 1944, in Pekin, Ill., to Edward and Helen (Stanley) Brissenden.

Her husband, Raymond Fink, is deceased.

Surviving are one daughter, Natasha Young of Colorado; three sons, D.J. Young and Robert Young, both of Texas and Lenny Young of Iowa; one sister, Susan Zwemer of Illinois; and three brothers, Steven Graves of California, David Jensen of Illinois and Patrick Harrison.

One son, John. E. Fink, is deceased, along with nieces Tina Hostetler and Ashley Guire.

She was devoted to her work as a nursing assistant in assisted living care and is remembered as a thoughtful and devoted daughter and mother.

She graduated from Richwoods Community High School in Peoria, Ill., in 1964, and formerly lived in Goshen.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen.

The funeral will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Walnut Hill Mennonite Church. Kay Bontrager-Singer and Deron Brill Bergstresser of Faith Mennonite Church will officiate.

Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria, Ill.
