Funeral of Richard Herman Meier to Be at the Home in Maysville.
Funeral services for Richard Herman Meier, 11-year-old son of Louis Meier, mayor of Maysville, who was instantly killed Saturday afternoon by an automobile, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home in Maysville, and interment will be in Maysville cemetery.
Richard was born in Allen's Grove township on June 22, 1911, and with his parents moved to Maysville seven years ago, there attending the public schools.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Meier; seven brothers, Fritz, Julius, Henry, Louis Jr., Rudolph, Charles and Arthur; and six sisters, Mrs. Richard Fick of Big Rock and the Misses Anna, Rose, Margaret, Viola, and Mildred Meier living at home.
