Daniel Boone Magee,75 years of age, one of Lincoln County's esteemed elder residents died at his home on Wesson R5, in the Mission Hill Community late Wednesday afternoon of a malignant disease from which he has long been a sufferer.
Mr. Magee has been a resident of the Mission Hill Community 31 years and was known as a good friend and neighbor, always ready to share with those about him. He attended a Baptist Church and contributed to it.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Thursday morning at Mission Hill Church, Rev. J. B. Herrington officiating with internment in the cemetery nearby.
Surviving Mr. Magee are his wife Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Case Magee, a son, Ellis Magee of Wesson, Rt. 5, a daughter, Mrs. Ella Thompson, of Wesson, all of whom have the sympathy of friends in their sorrow.
