Mrs. Anna G. Mallon

Mrs. Anna G. Mallon of Washingtonville died in St. Luke's Hospital on Saturday morning, April 7, 1956 after a long illness.

Mrs. Mallon was born in Washingtonville August 8, 1883, the daughter of the late John Y. and Sarah Hudson Gerow. She was the wife of William L. Mallon. Mrs. Mallon was a devoted life long member of the Congregation Church of Blooming Grove, which she had served as treasurer for the past eight years. She was also a member of the Choir for many years and of the Women's Guild of the Church.

She is survived by her husband, and two daughters, Mrs. Harold A. Wood of Washingtonville and Mrs. David S. Bate of Essex Fells, New Jersey; one brother, Clarence H. Gerow, and one sister, Miss Susan Gerow, both of Washingtonville; six grandchildren; a niece and two nephews.

The Rev. C. Eugene Askew, resident pastor of the Church in Blooming Grove conducted service at Mrs. Mallon's late home on Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.

Interment was in Washingtonville Cemetery, under the direction of Greene and Greene
