Funeral services for Norma Booker, 82, of Kaufman, Texas were held Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Huff Funeral Chapel in Whitesboro. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Cooke County, Texas, under the direction of Huff Funeral Home.

She died Wednesday, March 15, 2006 in Select Specialty Hospital in DeSoto, Texas.

The daughter of the late James Henry Adams and Edith May Cavin Adams, she was born August 30, 1923 in Whitesboro. She married Marvin Booker on September 23, 1939 in Marietta, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death May 22, 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Kaufman.

She is survived by a son, Donald Booker of Grand Prairie, Texas; three daughters, Bernice Vail of Sherwood Shores, Texas, Wanneti Wooten of Kaufman, and Lucille Lovelady of Lindsay, Oklahoma; two brothers, Marvin Adams of Collinsville, and Roy Adams of Tuttle, Oklahoma; three sisters, Winona Penn, Eloise Lowry, and Emma Irene Adams, all of Collinsville; five grandchildren, Edwin Lovell, Robert Childress, Shiela Ruston, Ricky Lovelady, and Kenneth Wooten; and five great grandchildren
