Claude G. (Dick) Grove, 66,prominent Tipton county resident and widely known as a former Cicero township trustee, died at his resident on North Main Street about noon Saturday. Death followed several years of poor health and two weeks of serious illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Young's funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery.

Mr. Grove was born Aug. 3, 1881, in Tipton, the son of Dr. J.M. and Cynthia (Miles) Grove. He was one of six children of whom only one survives.

Mr. Grove resided for many years in the same residence in which he died. He was married Feb. 21, 1919, to Hazel Mohler and they continued to reside in the Grove home. Survivors are the widow, one brother, Ernest Grove, of South Bend, and several nieces and nephews.
