Catherine M. Gantenbein, 64, of Olney, died at 7:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1987, at the Richland Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Gantenbein was born on Oct. 23, 1923, in Olney, the daughter of Walter and Martha (Gardner) Zimmerly.
She married Bernard Gantenbein on May 17, 1943, in Olney.
He preceded her in death on July 25, 1983.
Survivors include two sons, Bernard Jr. of Carbondale and Robert of Olney; one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Cathy) King of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; three brothers, Bob Zimmerly of Olney, Howard Zimmerly of Pineville, Mo., and Melvin Zimmerly of Madison, Ohio; one half-brother, Walter Zimmerly of Olney; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Tarpley of Olney; three grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, her parents and husband.
