Esther M. Meckes and Anthony Adams (son of William Davis and his wife, Martha) were married 21 Jul 1903 by Rev. B. F. Apple (Monroe Co. marriage license #2215). They moved to Mayfield in Lackawanna Co. around 1903 where they lived on Jefferson Ave.

Children of this marriage were:
1. William Pierson Adams b. 1904
2. Esther M Adams b. abt 1907

Esther was buried in Jermyn Cemetery by undertaker, A. F. Battenberg of Jermyn, PA. (Obit in "Scranton Republican", Friday, 17 June 1915, last page; Death Certificate #57197-PA)
