Courdie Mae Hughes, 66, of 6091 Williams WY., died Wednesday, DEC. 5, 1984 in the Josephine Memorial Hospital emergency room.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Slawson's Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home with Jeff Prosise and Lester Stevens of the Northside Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be at Sparlin Cemetery in Williams.
Hughes was born June 23, 1918, in Colorado. In 1934 she moved to Grants Pass, where she joined
the Northside Church of Christ. Her husband James died on March 10.
Survivors include daughter Joan Rice of Eugene, sons Andrew of Gardnerville, Nevi., and Mack of Woodland Hills, Calif., brother Dan Howerton of Dayton, Nevi., sisters Vada Lewis of Escondido, Calif., Nettie Douglas of Scotts Mills and Rachael Gillaspie of Red Bluff, Calif., and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be today until 8 p.m. at Slawson's.
