He is Killed by the Accidental discharge of a Pistol near Abilene.
News was received in the city yesterday by relatives, that Brooks Wallace, youngest son of Col. A. P. Blocker, and brother of William and John Blocker, of Austin prominent stock men, was killed on his ranch near Abilene, by the accidental discharge of his pistol. His remains were carried to Fort Concho where they were buried on Sunday. The Statesman extends its cordial sympathy to the bereaved family in this their hour of affliction.
