Joseph Michael "Chip" Horvath, 48, a native of Oakdale and resident of LaPlace, died Friday, aug. 14,1998. visitation will be from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Ardoin Funeral Home of Oakdale. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oakdale, with burial
in church cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Mrs. Dorotha Wheeler Horvath of Houma and Mr. J. Richard "Dick" and Doris Horvath of Oakdale; one son, Ricky Horvath of Boone, N.C.; one daughter, Magan Horvath of Oakdale; and one sister, R.A."Trinket" Johnson of Sulphur.
He was a respiratory therapist and a member of the Yellow Pine Masonic Lodge of Oakdale.
