Ackerson, Hugh W. Born November 18, 1920, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 25, 2009.

Preceded in death by former wife, Doris Ackerson; granddaughter, Christie; great-granddaughter, Jade; brothers, Paul (Fran), Irvin (Martha), Laurie. Survived by children, Diane (Glen) Klitsch, Michael (RoseAnn) Ackerson, Linda (Mark) McKoskey, Timothy (Cindy) Ackerson, Charles (Lynn) Ackerson, Richard (Michele) Ackerson; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Howard (Doris); sister, Corrine Koepke; sister-in-law, Audrey; special friend, Geraldine Ostrander and Tim.

Special thanks to the staff at Golden Living Excelsior for kind and loving care.

Celebration of Life will be held Monday, June 29, 2009 at 10 AM at the Cremation Society of Minnesota Edina Chapel, 7110 France Ave S, Edina, MN 55435 952-924-4100. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery following the service.
