On Thursday, December 27, 1979, at 6:30 p.m., Alice was crossing 500 East and Leland Avenue (3015 South) in South Salt Lake, when she was struck by a motorcycle. Alice was taken to St. Mark's Hospital in Millcreek, where she passed away the following day at 3:15 a.m. from head and internal injuries suffered in the accident. She resided at 610 East Leland Avenue (3015 South) in South Salt Lake at the time of her death.
