Harry "Cub" Henry Tamagni

Harry (Cub) Henry Tamagni, 62, of Calistoga, died Tuesday at the St. Helena Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Knights Valley he moved to Calistoga at the age of seven with his family. He attended the Kellogg Knights Valley School, Tucker School and Calistoga schools.

In 1963 he married Caroline Tamagni and lived in Calistoga on his dairy ranch. He was a dairyman all of his life working the Tamagni Dairy in Calistoga with his nephew, Walter (Bocky) Tamagni Jr.

Mr. Tamagni was a member of the Calistoga Native Sons of the Golden West, the Napa County Farm Bureau, and a member of the Calistoga Community Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Tamagni is survived by his wife, Caroline of Calistoga; two step children, Mrs. Nancy C. Newman of Santa Rosa; and Ted G. Tamagni of Calistoga; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Wolleson and Mrs. Evelyn Snodgrass both of Calistoga; and a brother, Walter Sr. of Calistoga.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Morrison Simic Chapel in Calistoga. Interment will be in the St. Helena Cemetery.

Visitation hours are from 7 to 9 tonight.
