RIVERSIDE DENNIS IVER CALKIN Long time residence of Riverside, Ca. Dennis Iver Calkin, died in Las Cruses, New Mexico on January 31, 2010. Dennis was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 01/17/1947.He was 63 years old. Dennis worked as a sales representive for over 22 years with Angle and Babbage, was a Vietnam veteran and a long time member of the local VFW. Dennis enjoyed during his lifetime: surfing, coaching sports, fishing and golfing. Dennis is survived by his wife Pam Calkin, children, Marla Ganahl, Melissa Prince Kluge, Brannon Calkin Phelps, Shannon Duffy and Cecily Calkin, brothers and sisters Landon Calkin, Ron Naparella, Joy Calkin and Rick Naparella. A Memorial service will be held at the Riverside National Cemetery on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 2:30 pm by Pastor Bob Probert, The family suggests that memorials be sent to the American Lung Association.
