Kenneth Roy Adkins, 65, of Greenville died February 17, 2010, at Medical City Hospital in Dallas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Visitation isfrom 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2010 at the funeral home.
Son of Roy V. and Rosa Lee Vice Adkins, he was born July 4, 1944, in Greenville. He retired from Rubbermaid where he worked in the Distrubution Department. He was in the KA Fraternity at East Texas State University.
Surviving are a sister, Wanda Lee Moore and husband James of Heath; two nieces, Carrie Testa of North Richland Hills and Dara Atkinson and husband Jason of Garland; uncles Burl Vice Jr. and wife Dorothy of Greenville and Preston Vice and wife Judy of Plano; and aunts Dorothy Wilson and husband P. B., June Vice of Nevada, Texas, and Yvonne Walker and husband Richard and Evelyn Bean and husband Eddie, all of Garland.
His parents preceded him in death.
Uncles and cousins will serve as pallbearers.
