HARPER - Christopher Moon, 24, died Feb. 17, 2010, in Pittsburg. He was born June 11, 1985, in Denver, Colo., to Scott Moon and Tammy (James) Barker.
He was a student at Pittsburg State University.
Survivors include: his mother, Tammy and Hugh Barker; his father, Scott and Marie Moon; brothers, Heath Barker and Bret Moon; sisters, Nancy Campbell and Amanda Moon; grandparents, Bud and Cheryl Moon, Delmer and Betty James and Connie and Bill Schmidt; eight nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joyce and Floyd Barker.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Prairie Rose Funeral Home Chapel, Harper, with Alan Stucky officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harper Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Chris Moon Memorial Fund. (From Hutchnews)
