Funeral for Michael Shane Biles, 38, of Speake will be Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Francis Proctor officiating.

Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Biles was born Feb. 12, 1968, in Norman, Okla., to Ron Biles and Linda Hunter. He was a pipe welder. Shane began his life fishing and hunting with his Grandpa Biles. He enjoyed football, playing center for Norman High School and The University of Central Oklahoma. His hobbies included arrowhead hunting and collecting antique cars, knives and bottles. He believed in right and wrong with no in between. His life with Lisa and Riley for the last eight years was the happiest time of his life. He loved Lisa and also enjoyed all of his hobbies in Speake where he found freedom and peace.

His grandparents, Robert Biles, and Tom and Lois Johnson, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Owens; one son, Riley Owens; his father, Ron and Bonnie Biles; his mother, Linda and Ronnie Hunter; one brother, Troy Biles; one stepbrother, Rusty Biles; four stepsisters, Megan Chandler, Jessica Janes, Misty Redner and Christie Whorton; and grandmother, Maxine Biles.

Pallbearers will be Dale Hill, Jamie Vernon, Stacey Kelso, Steve Hill, Aaron Johnson and Tim Hood.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Blanton and Joe Hargis.
