John is the Grandson of his late maturnal Grandparents John M. and Mary A. Garlak, and Nephew of his late Uncle Todd Garlak

He is suvived by his father John (Mary) Garlak, Aunt Kerrie, and his beloved younger sister, Elizabeth (Buffy) Garlak-Martin, Wife Marcy, and his 4 Adored Children; Clair, Corrinne, Cooper, and Charlie..

John died suddenly, without warning, of natural causes..
He was much too young...

I was there in the waiting room with his father when he was born..

I had not seen him since then until this past Christmas when I met the adult John along with (3) of his beautiful children..

Upon meeting I was more than impressed with him.. He was Kind, Warm, Respectful, Loving, Caring, and working at getting his life back on track..

I consider it a blessing that I was able to be a part of his life if only for a few short hours... Upon leaving he asked if we might exchange email addresses so that we could stay in touch..

John W. Martin died suddenly on Monday afternoon, February 15, 2010... He was 42 years old... John was born on June 16, 1967 in Pontiac, Michigan... He graduated from Livonia Franklin High School in 1985 and was a resident of Clawson..

John had many talents, particularly as a Painter and local Printer for the past 20 years...

He enjoyed playing his guitar but especially found pleasure being active in any and all of his childrens activities.. John will be deeply missed by all those he touched...

John is survived by his wife of 14 years, Marcy, their Beautiful Children who he adored, Claire, Corrinne, Cooper, and Charlie, and his sister Elizabeth Martin..

He is also survived by his Mother and Father-in-law Pat and Skip Moran, Aunt and Uncle Catherine and Robert Claramunt, and many friends...
