James E. Coleman

James E. Coleman, 84, retired potter of Fifth Ave., LaCroft, died Thursday at 9:15 p. m. in City Hospital following a long illness.

Mr. Coleman resided in East Liverpool for 35 years. He was employed by the Harker Pottery Co.

He leaves four sons, Ernest Coleman, Everett Coleman, Charles Coleman and Eugene Coleman, all of east Liverpool; six daughters, Mrs. Edith Johnson of Clarington, Mrs. Ethel Newell of Akron, Mrs. Bertha Ward, Mrs. Rebecca Mayberry and Mrs. Frank Mitcheson of East Liverpool, and Miss Norna Coleman at home; a brother, Fred Coleman, and a sister Mrs. Jennie Smith, both of Long Bottom, and 60 [might be 50-hard to read] grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. His wife, Lucy, died in 1933.

Rites will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Martin Funeral Home by Rev. D. Park Chapman, pastor of the First Church of Christ. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call Sunday afternoon and night at the funeral home.
