"The funeral of George Hauck was held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at his late residence on Wurts street. The services were conducted by the Rev. A. Schmidtkonz pastor of the Spring Street German Lutheran Church. There was a large attendance at the services many being present from new York and New Jersey. There was also a profusion of floral tributes. The bearers were Frank M. Struble, John Hoffman, Henry P. Keisch, Fritz Langendorf, Jacob Snyder and Charles Nawe, all lifelong employees of the deceased. The interment was in Montrepose cemetery." The Kingston Daily Freeman, April 24 1912.
