Mr. Trimble was born in Richwood, WV on June 10, 1930, a son of Okey Ulysses and Lela Brown Trimble, Sr., both deceased. He was a US Marine veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired sales representative with Peoples Life Insurance Company. He loved to hunt and enjoyed his hobby of panning for gold in a sleuth.
He is survived by his daughters, Janet King and husband Reggie of Reidsville and Susan Mounce and husband Dwayne of Greensboro; his son, Ovid L. Trimble, Jr.; his sister, Agnes Smith of Dunbar, WV; and his six grandchildren.
The extended family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Annie Mae and Garland Chilton and Rose Stevens for their loving and devoted care of Ovid.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred Trimble and Oran Trimble. There will be no formal visitation.
