Wife of Henry Mendinhall.

"MRS. E. W. MENDINHALL

Death of a Woman Deeply Interested in Charity Organizations in This City.

Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson Mendinhall, widow of Henry Mendinhall, for years president of the Diamond State Iron Company, died yesterday at her home, No. 1107 Delaware avenue, after an illness of about one month.

Mrs. Mendinhall, who was in her 66th year, had, ever since the death of her husband, in 1887, devoted her life to works of charity, and she was closely identified with most of the important organizations of that character in this city. She was president of the Homeopathic Hospital, to which institution she had always been a generous contributor.

She was the mother of Mrs. John Richardson, Jr., and Mrs. George W. Chambers. Her funeral will take place on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock."
