Dennis W., age 55, died peacefully at home February 21, 1997.
Born February 20, 1942 in Salt Lake City to Willard James and Olive May Mailander. Married Kathleen Morris on July 15, 1963 in Salt Lake City.Beloved husband and father, as well as friend and mentor to the faculty and students of the Weber Basin Job Corps, where he was a teacher.
Survived by his wife Kathleen, Ogden; children Melissa (Don) Curristan, Ramona, CA; Gary Sean Mailander, Heather (Bruce) Bayley, both of Salt Lake City; granddaughter, Shannon Curristan; niece, Holly Mailander. Preceded in death by brother, Gary Mailander.
He will be greatly missed by countless friends and the Morris and Allsop families.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 25, 1997, 12 noon, at the Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 E. So. Temple; where friends may call Monday 6-8 pm and Tuesday 10:45-11:45 am. Interment Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
