Lorrin Charles Mabus, born February 17, 1932 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin to Charles and Pearl Mabus. Was in the CC Camps which made State Parks. World War II Veteran of the South Pacific, member of VFW Post 409-past Commander. Liked his lower side band radio, made many friends where ever he went.

Survived by his wife, Vaida Maarvilla Thompson; one daughter and two sons, Devynn, Lorrilla, son-in-law, John Walthall and Reml; two special grandchildren, Kamber and Kolby. Preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers.Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 15, 1995 at 1 p.m. at the Rose Park 8th Ward, 1155 North 1200 West. Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, and again on Thursday, one hour prior to services at the ward. Interment, Camp Williams Cemetery. Funeral directors, Deseret Mortuary.
