Louis Bigreth Reppond, son of Jeff Anderson Reppond and F. M. "Deborah or Debby" Kirk Reppond. They were married in Hopkins Co., Texas. Louis Bigreth Reppond was named for his two grandfathers: Lewis Reppond and Matthew Biggart Kirk both had settled in Hopkins Co., TX.

Louis Bigreth Reppond lived in Oklahoma before coming to Borger, Texas.

The Repponds came from Louisiana to Texas in the 1860s.

Funeral services for long time resident, L.B. Reppond, will be conducted Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, with the pastor, Rev. Dan B. Cameron, officiating.

Reppond, 73, of 609 N. Harvey, died Saturday at 11:05 a.m. in North Plains Hospital shortly after suffering a heart attack. He had lived in Borger for 21 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Surviving are the widow, Tillie; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Castleman and Mrs. Nell Alexander, both of Borger; a son, Don of Perryton; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown Funeral Director.

Final rites for L.B. Reppond, long time Borger resident, are scheduled Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Dan B. Cameron, pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Park cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown Funeral Director.

Casketbearers named today are Elmer Johnson, William Burns, Bert Castleman, Charles Murley, Bud Reynolds and L.E. Brain.
