He then removed to Rush Co., Indiana, where he died in 1863; issue- Henry, John, James, David, William, Elizabeth, Margaret, Lavinia, Susan and Kate. Henry of Adam died in 1884, leaving James, David, Margaret, Jane, Polly and Adam Thomas Warfield."
Jared Warfield, son of Samuel Pierpont & Sarah (Welsh) Warfield, and brother of Samuel, had a son named Jared Warfield who married Mary Penn in 1803 in Bourbon Co KY and removed to Jefferson Co IN in 1816. He is the first cousin of Adam Warfield (1778-1863). Jared and Mary had nine children: Ann, Catherine, John, Mary, Emeline, Delilah, Emily, James Riley & Joseph Penn. Jared's son's name, James Riley Warfield, is most likely the name of Adam's son as well: James R Warfield (1829-1894).
Samuel may have died during a small battle at Redstone Fort (aka Fort Burd) in Brownsville, Fayette Co PA. If so, he is buried in a mass grave at that location.
