Samuel Grimm Stationary engineer at the James Millikin university died Friday at his home. He was 69 years old. His death was caused by diabetes and followed and illness for over a year. He came to Macon county in 1875 and for many years was engaged in farming. During the last few years he was employed at the power plant at the James Millikin plant. He was a member of the First Methodist church.
He was born in York,Pa. June 5, 1856. He leaves his wife and the following children,Edward of Millbank,S.D.,William of Springfield,Mrs.Dorothy Shafffer of Mason City and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
