Ellen Louise (née Gibson) Christian Rittenhouse
She was born to Emilie and Floyd Gibson.
Ellen retired in 1984 after 44 years of service to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. After retirement she spent two years in Taiwan as a missionary with her late husband, Dr. Percy Christian, former president of RU.C.
Ellen is survived by her stepdaughters, Shirley Christian, of Angwin; Dana Dutcher of Riverside; Judy Rittenhouse, of Pa.; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her second husband, Dr. Floyd Rittenhouse, also a former president of P.U.C., as well as stepson Dr. John Christian and grandson Jeffrey Christian.
