Services for A. S. "Sonny" Hazelwood, Jr. 75, of Lubbock will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 19, 2010 in the Ralls Cemetery Chapel with Larry Stogsdille and Jerry Hoover officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Sonny passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at University Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born December 15, 1937 in Brownfield to Ruby (Kwle) and Albion Smith Hazelwood, Sr. On December 17, 1955 he married Hazel Mosley in Spur, Texas.

He was the local supervisor for the Association of Milk Producers, Inc. where he worked for 29 1/2 years. He served in the Army in the 24th Tank division during the Korean Confilct. Sonny moved to Lubbock in 2004 from Amarillo and was a member of the Broadway Church of Christ in Lubbock.

Survivors include; his wife Hazel of Lubbock, a son Dale of Lubbock; three sisters, Edwina Smith of Stephenville, Bonnie Rice of Waco, Gerrie Beth Stogsdille of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Jade Hazelwood of Helena, Montana, Bailey, Ashton and Brianna Hazelwood all of Canyon.
