Obin Knutson 1907-1956
Obin Knutson, a resident of south of Bagley for five years, died at the Clearwater County Memorial Hospital Monday morning at 9 o'clock. Mr. Knutson had been ill for the past four months or so and had been confined in hospitals both here and Duluth.
Funeral services for Mr. Knutson were held today (Thursday) at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. James Christopherson officiating. Burial will be made under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home.
Obin Knutson was born in August of 1907 and came here from Warren about five years ago.
Survivors are his wife and six children: Mrs. V. Staffen (Marlyn) of Duluth; Milton, in the Navy; and Edwin, Elaine, Clayton and Connie, all at home. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Mr. Knutson's mother, seven brothers and two sisters.
Pallbearers at the last rites will be six brothers in law: Harry, Oscar, Lloyd, Neil, Dennis and Duane Knutson. (All last names are Knutson.)
