Mrs Everett Hastings
Mrs Lucy A Hastings, 84 of 127 Beede Ave, died in Elyria Memorial Hospital yesterday at 5:25 pm following a brief illness. A graduate of Elyria High School and Lakeside Hospital School of Nursing, she was a public health nurse in the Elyria and Cleveland Areas. She also served as a Red Cross volunteer for many years. Mrs Hastings was born in North Ridgeville, April 11, 1888, and lived in Elyria 72 years. She was a member of the East Oberlin Community Church. Her husband, Everett, died in 1951. Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Reichlin Funeral Home where services will be Thursday at 2 pm. The Rev Elwym Owen, East Oberlin Community Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery.
