Leo was born in Earlham, Iowa and was a resident of Arizona since 1959. He was a lifelong member of the DAV and a member of Evangel Church in Sun City, Arizona.
Leo is survived by two daughters, Ardiss Robbins and Deborah Edwards; two sons, LeRoy and David; one sister, Audrey Robbins; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2010 at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale. Funeral services 10 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010, also at the mortuary. Interment with military honors will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery, Glendale.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Hospice of the Valley in Leo Murray's name.
