Diana Lee Hall Fowler

Daughter, sister, wife, mother, "Granka Di," aunt and friend passed away on Monday morning, April 25, 1994, at her home in Boise of a heart attack.

She was born on July 27, 1942, in Pocatello, to Donald G. and Marian E. Steed Hall. Her mother passed away when she was 6 months old. Her father met and married Bernice Hopper Brokate on January 15, 1944, and Diana was reared by Bernice and Don.

She graduated from Pocatello High School in 1960. She attended Sunday school and church at the Central Christian Church, Eighth Avenue and East Center Street, and was baptized there.

She married David Jon Fowler on July 27, 1961. They had their only daughter, Niki Jo Fowler Wilke on December 24, 1965. They lived in Boise, Idaho Falls and Pocatello.

She is survived by her husband, Dave Fowler, of Boise; daughter Niki (Mrs. Kevin) Wilke, two grandchildren, Shelby and Gabrielle Wilke of Goose Creek, S.C.; father and mother, Donald and Bernice Hall of Pocatello; step-brother, Kenneth Lee Brokate of Apple Valley, Calif.; a sister, Bonnie (Mrs. Ed) Butterfield of Payette, Idaho; step-sister, Connie Leon of American Falls; 21 nieces and nephews, and 11 great grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her birth mother, Marian E. Steed, and two step-brothers, Ronald D. and Barry B. Brokate.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 29, at 10 a.m. in the Colonial Funeral Home, Pocatello, with Pastor Roger Bray of the Central Christian Church officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, April 28, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. Fourth Ave. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
