Leonard Lewis, 80, of Farina, died at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at Helen's TLC Home for Senior Citizens in Farina.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in St. Peter, with the Rev. William Emrick officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Effingham, with military rites accorded by Farina American Legion Post No. 411. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Memorials: Alzheimer's Association or St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Pagel Funeral Home in St. Peter was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lewis was born on Oct. 2, 1929, in Bellflower, the son of Clarence and Minnie Simmons Lewis. He married Charlotte Feather on Aug. 28, at Alma Christian Church in Alma.
He is survived by his wife; son, Michael Lewis and his wife Peggy of Labadie, Mo.; and daughters, Julie and her husband John Traub of Dieterich, and Jeana and her husband Jeff Lotz of St. Peter.
