He was united in marriage to Flora Belle Denton Dec. 6 1904.
To this union were born seven children, all of whom are living.
His parents and two brothers preceded him in death.
Mr. Lyddon enjoyed farming in this community until 1930 and since has lived in Clearfield. He leaves to mourn his departure, and to cherish his memory, his wife Flora one daughter, Mrs. Neva Lightner of Ottumwa; six sons, Donald of Maloy, la.; Daryl of Clearfield; Bernard Harry of Iowa City, la.; Dale of Minneapolis, Minn.; Ivan of Albuquerque, N. M.. and Doyle who is serving with the Navy at Key West, Fla.; also 9 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Ella Rood of Clearfield.
Thirty years ago Mr. Lyddon joined the Christian church at Clearfield and was baptized in the name of the Lord by Rev. Weakland. He was an active member until his hearing failed him. Since he has been a faithful and constant reader of the Bible always trying to live in accordance with the word of God.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Wm Howes from the Clearfield Christian church March 12. Interment in Lenox cemetery. Six sons were pall bearers.—Clearfield Correspondent
