She was born on April 27, 1918, in rural Eureka, a daughter of William and Fannie Ulrich Schrock. She married Clyde R. Miller on Jan. 18, 1948, in Eureka. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, William (Janet) Miller of Lenox, Iowa; one daughter, Elaine Seipel of Charlotte, N.C.; five grandchildren, Erich Seipel, Andrew Seipel, Michael Miller, Elizabeth Strand and Joshua Miller; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Tim Schrock of Eureka; and one sister, Mary Ann Flanagan of Eureka.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
Helen was a bookkeeper for Hopedale Medical Complex in Hopedale, Ill.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at Maple Lawn Health Center Assembly Room. Pastor Phil Bachman will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, in the Assembly Room. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children's Program at Hopedale Mennonite Church or Roanoke Mennonite Church.
