From the August 30, 1910 edition of the Daily Mail in Hagerstown Maryland, "Morgan H. Clark died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Highberger, 18 East Lee street, Monday evening at 6 o'clock, of paralysis, aged 80 years, 6 months and 4 days. He had been sick for about two years. He was a member of the Lutheran church, Funkstown.

He is survived by the following children: Sarah E. Highbarger, Miss Minnie, Washington; Mrs. Beifeldt, Hamburg, Germany; Mrs. Lermond, Thomastown, Mass.; William Clark, Michigan; Norman, Dayton, O.; Elmer, Clarence, Harry, Chicago; and Ernest, New York.

Funeral with private services at the house Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Remsburg, Funkstown. Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery."
