Theodore R. "Ted" Schubert was born to George E. and Antonia K. Schubert. Theodore was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Susan Brownewell, brothers, Walter and Clem, sisters, Lavina Schubert and Dorothy Tollner. He is survived by his wife, Beverly J., son, George H. (Debra), and daughters, Ellen (Lamar) Bennett, Julie (Mike) Pasquin, and Jayne (David) Brent. Theodore is also survived by his brother Robert, sisters, Velma Oswald, June Jardine, Mary Beth Hawkins, 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Theodore spent his 86 years accomplishing more than most could ever hope to dream. A farmer and rancher since 1946, Theodore raised his family, lived, and worked on the same farm for over six decades (minus three years farming in Missouri from 1951-1953). He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, was a Legislative Representative for the State of Colorado, was a charter member of the El Paso County Farm Bureau, served on the board of directors for the El Paso County Soil Conservation District, Colorado Ground Water Commission and various other water organizations, and served on the Ellicott School District 22 Board of Education. Interment at the Calhan Cemetery.
