Mrs. Edith Longino Little, 76 of Roswell formerly of Gainesville died Saturday June 27, 2009.

Mrs. Little retired from Fulton County as a school bus driver and worked with the Atlanta Journal & Constitution for 23 years in distribution. She also served as PTA President with Ros-well North Elementary in 1976.

Mrs. Little was preceded in death by her parents Otis N. and Clair (English) Longino; sisters and brothers, Frances Lawson, J.C. Longino, James Longino, Frank Longino and Louise Smith.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Assiociation, American Kidney Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association . Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Tom Little, Jr.; sons, Tom Little, III of Gainesville and Chris L. Little of Nashville, TN; daughter, Dawn Lerchen of Nashville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 30, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Mason & Ward Funeral Home. Rev. Bud Sutton and Bill Stampler will officiate. Interment will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Forsyth County.
