Funeral services for Charles Finley "Pie" Bell Sr., 75, of Barnwell, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010, at Folk Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Barnwell Memory Gardens, Reynolds Road.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, at the funeral home.

BARNWELL, S.C. - Funeral services for Charles Finley "Pie" Bell, Sr., 75, of Barnwell will be held two p.m., Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel with burial in The Barnwell Memory Gardens., Reynolds Road. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from six to eight p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216 or the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720. Mr. Bell died Monday, February 15, 2010. Born in Old Dunbarton, he was a son of the late William Taft Bell and Eunice Lowe Bell and was married to Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Bell. He was lovingly known by his family and friends as "Pie". He retired from Milliken Co. as a supervisor with 35 years of service; he was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, a member of the CB Radio Club, the Hardees Breakfast Club and was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his wife of the home, a daughter, Beth Bell of Blackville; a son, Charles Finley "Chuck" Bell, Jr. and wife Dianne of Long Branch; sisters, Edna Love, Betty Johnson, Linda Snader, Clothilde Pinson; a brother, Billy Bell; grandchildren Matthew "Matt" C. Bell, Casey Dianne Bell; great grandchildren, Kylie and Mattilyn Bell. He was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Hammett. Visit our on-line registry at www.folkfuneralhome.com .
