BRADFORD -- Eathel Britt Armstrong, 87, of Bradford died Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Newport Hospital.
Born in Harrisburg, she attended schools in Brasfield, Helena and Hillemann.
Survivors include two sons of Cleveland, Texas, five daughters, four sisters, all of McCrory; 35 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wesley Armstrong; and her parents, Joseph and Hattie Mason Britt.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home of McCrory, with Dr. Lewis Hulvey officiating. Burial will follow in Heard Cemetery at Bradford.
Active pallbearers will be Joe Armstrong, John Armstrong, Lynn Wilson, J.R. Armstrong, Bo Peevey and Wes Armstrong.
Honorary pallbearers will include Jeremy Armstrong, D.J. Armstrong and Josh Armstrong.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
