Sarah and Solon lived in KS for over 40 years. Upon his death, she moved to La Grande, OR with Willis Johnson. They lived near her children, Minnie, Eda, Abe, Mason and Azel. When Sarah passed away, they (the children) wanted to keep her by them. They did not have the money to send her body back to KS to be buried with her first husband, Solon. She is buried in LaGrande, OR.
