He lived his life as an educator, sportsman, musician, father, and grandfather. He lived the Czech lifestyle to its fullest and celebrated his heritage every day. Duane's greatest joy was being a grandfather and the grandchildren always loved "Papa" and the time they got to spend with him. Preceded in death by parents Lawrence E. and Nettie M. Stehlik. Survived by wife, Marna Sue; sons, Steven L. and wife Pamela of Omaha, NE and Scott W. and wife Amanda of Ames, IA; 6 grandchildren; brother L. Joe Stehlik of Pawnee City, NE; sister, Merilee Nord, Ithaca, NY.
