William "Bill" Chennault

Services for William Francis "Bill" Chennault, 85, of Kosciusko were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Parkway Cemetery.

Chennault, a retired purchasing agent for Sheller Globe, died Dec. 19, 2004 at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran serving as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corp from 1941-45. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School for many years. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 44.

He is survived by his wife, Sara Gilbert Chennault of Kosciusko; a son, Stephen Chennault of Kosciusko; daughter, Anita Chennault of Jackson; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and two step grandchildren.

Rev. Ralph Hunt officiated.

Pallbearers were James Doris Chennault, Donald Ray Chennault, Eugene Chennault, Tim Chennault, Victor Gilbert and Larry Howard.
